Kids will also love viewing Britain's tallest spire and Europe's oldest working clock, and there’s a Cathedral Trail for ages 8-12, a special Ghost Knight trail based on the popular Cornelia Funke book for kids and Explorer Bags for younger kids.
Other Magna Carta events in Salisbury and Wiltshire in 2015 will include contemporary art installations, music and theatre, family activities and a flower festival.
What: High Altar of the Abbey, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Bury was pivotal in the history of the Magna Carta - it’s at the High Altar of the Abbey that the Barons swore an oath of allegiance, the direct precursor to the Magna Carta.
