Planning Your Dream Wedding in a Tudor Castle
With engagements aplenty over the Christmas period (including two members of staff at our Woolley Grange Hotel in Wiltshire!) and Valentine’s Day on the way, Thornbury Castle is offering couples a fantastic opportunity to shop for everything for their wedding under one very special roof.
On Sunday 7th February 2016, between 11am and 3pm, our romantic Tudor castle in the Cotswolds - which includes a bedchamber where Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn stayed during their honeymoon tour - will provide the perfect setting for a Wedding Open Day and Bridal Exhibitor Showcase. As well as helping you find inspiration for the wedding of your dreams, the event will include wedding-inspired activities, complimentary goodie bags and a prize draw. Admission is free.
From first-class cuisine in an opulent dining room and dancing in a Tudor hall to sleeping in a vast four-poster bed, Thornbury Castle is a unique wedding venue for those looking for something out of the ordinary. It's tucked away on its own private estate with gorgeous landscaped grounds and an ancient walled kitchen garden yet within easy reach of the M4, M5 and Bristol.
If you can’t make the Wedding Open Day, don’t worry - simply call the hotel or pop in and discuss the fantastic wedding packages that it has on offer and find out how our wedding planners can help make every detail of your big day stand out. Ask too about our two brand-new suites, due for completion just after Easter.
